Burj Al Arab - The Terrace
Our team contributed to creation of the „The Terrace“ in the most luxurious hotel Burj Al Arab!
On the 25th of May, 2016 in the presence of the royal family itself, was inaugurated another important construction in Dubai which is located at the most luxurious hotel in the world Burj Al Arab, directly above the Arabian Sea.
This construction is a terrace with an area of over 10,000 m2, which extends 100 meters into the sea bay. Terrace is established about five meters above the water level on 90 steel pylons with a diameter of up to 1 meter, which are anchored to the bottom of the sea.
Visitors of the hotel terrace can enjoy a swim in two swimming pools whose total capacity is designed for 600 people. There is a swimming pool with salt and fresh water. The water area of those swimming pools is 612 m2 (918 m3), respectively 824 m2 (1150 m3). In the case of salt-water swimming pool the overflow edge with its respectable lenght of 80 meters gives the impression that it is possible to swim through into the open sea. Of course it is well secured so there is no danger of falling into the sea. The hotels guests can use for their maximal relaxation also one of four whirlpools with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf or a commanding building of the hotel Burj Al Arab by itself. An integral part is a possibility of a refreshment at the pool bar, the classic bar and the air-conditioned restaurant which is in the immediate vicinity of the swimming pools. Sunbathing visitors can use the deckchairs in the sun or in the shade of palm trees or umbrellas.
On the terrace are also situated air-conditioned bungalows which can be used in addition to relaxation for business meetings. It is possible to make a very good impression to your business partner with services which the hotel staff offers. When outdoor temperature often exceeds 50°C every business partner will appreciate an airport pick-up service in the form of a white Rolls Royce car, than at the hotel a direct transportation by a golf cart to the front door of the bungalows.
We are one of the few companies which contributed to the creation of project documentation and the actual implementation. Our main task was to supply the entire pool technology, including measurement and control system, which is necessary for the operation of the swimming pools and whirlpools. To be sure, that every parameter in the swimming pools and whirlpools is perfect, this whole system is being monitored from our headquaters directly online.
Our task was: "Following the premium and high-quality managed design study to develop the project including calculations entire pool technology and subsequent delivery of all technological elements in a record short term limit." The project was a big challenge and we are very proud that we have mastered this task and we are behind creating this important project.
